Novatus Energy hosted meeting with the project landowners at the South Plains II Wind project in Floyd County, Texas
NEW YORK, NY. July 14, 2016 – On Thursday, July 14th Novatus Energy hosted a meeting with the project landowners at the South Plains II wind project site in Floyd County, TX. Landowners enjoyed a respite from a summer thunderstorm with a barbeque and beverages at the project’s O&M building. Attendees heard from Novatus Energy team, as well as other partners involved in the construction and operation of the project.
The South Plains II Wind Project has an installed capacity of 300 MW. Utilizing 91 Vestas V-117 3.3 MW turbines, the project was constructed by M.A. Mortenson Company and is operated by E.ON Energy Services. The project began commercial operation in June of 2016.
